Traditional Art and Mixed Media

Hypnogogic

Hauntings

Most of my personal work comes from dreams or hypnogogic discoveries. Others are are inspired by stories from the land, and my tribes ancient stories. They are images that move in the minds eye, that try to communicate. Each has their own story, so I call them illustrations, even though they are shown in fine art galleries.

I work with charcoal, as well as oil and acrylic paintings on canvas, ink and mixed-media illustrations on paper, fine art archival prints, digital media, and found-assembly sculpture

Zero AI is ever used to create, conceptualize or complete my work.

Over the past two years, I’ve discovered a deep attunement with sculpture; using found materials and experimental applications. I will affix clay to canvases, or wrap plastic mannequins in plaster bandages and various other things, incorporating many natural materials that I go out and collect. Plant matter like toxic mesquite thorns, antlers, feathers, soil for texture - along with textiles and piercing needles or bone.

One of my goals is to have a large space that will allow me to experiment with my growing process.
